RE: Seven Jobs for the week - Scarlet - 13-01-2022

All my jobs seem to take hours and I'm not great at doing lists. But will try...

RE: Seven Jobs for the week - Veggie - 14-01-2022

Just list the things that are quick and easy, not the big stuff. Big Grin

RE: Seven Jobs for the week - SarrissUK - 15-01-2022

I'm going to post mine now, because my weeks cannot start after a weekend, it has to start before lol I am going to:
1. Sow flower seeds
2. Sow veggie seeds (not decided which yet)
3. Pot up spider plant babies
4. Pot up Tradescantia zebrina 'Burgandy' that the cats broke off the original plant that have rooted lovely in a cup of water
5. Organise the shed
6. Turn my big compost heap
7. Clean out the chickens and compost the poop

RE: Seven Jobs for the week - Broadway - 15-01-2022

Here you go....

1-Complete the bean trench - Fill with paper shreddings, veg waste, then top with manure

2-Move the remainder of the manure onto the plot

3-Collect another dumpy bag of leaves

4-Tidy and mulch the rhubarb bed

5-Sort out the bed with the walky onions/leeks - Most seem to have died, will transfer the ones that are left to a large pot for this year. This bed will then be used for annual onions this year.

6-Sort out the bed with the Siberian onions, will transfer the ones that are left to a large pot for this year. This bed will then be used for annual onions this year.

7-Tidy the front garden area, plant the 2 new hydrangeas, lay weed matting, then top with bark chippings.

I'm exhausted just reading those lists.

Sow broad beans in modules
Sow peas in modules
Empty old tom MFBs
Sow more carrots in MFBs
Figure out how to support bijou peas as they extend beyond their existing canes

Indoor

Prick out airing cupboard seedlings if necessary - not likely needed only a few popped as yet
Set up growlights - DONE
Repot a very small fibrous begonia that is bravely in flower DONE

I love this Big Grin
I washed the floor this morning

Can that be one off my list?
