We are meeting most of our family at our daughter's in London tomorrow for boxing day. Hope it lives up to its name.

today it will be higgetty quiche with roast veg, carrots and cauli (bought).

Homemade fish pie. that isn't a pie but Cod & smoked haddock and peas in a sauce with potato, carrot & sweet potato mash on the side.

A huge shout out for this recipe, especially if you're looking for a special veggie centrepiece. It was our Boxing Day dinner, after blowing out on goose Big Grin the day before!

My version used trombo rather than butternut and kale not spinach as I have both, and homemade rough puff pastry rather than puff.

Cold turkey and pickles again tonight, that will be the end of it except for picking the carcass over for soup. I finally got round to making our traditional chocolate roulade for pud. Heaven on a plate, chocolate, cream and icing sugar what's not to like!
