RE: Tonight’s recipe - Small chilli - 01-07-2020 (30-06-2020, 10:25 PM)Can the Man Wrote:Not nearly as many as the recipe said. It was more of a madras heat. Just one random chilli from my pick & mix bag in the freezer and 4tsp of my chilli powder which is above average chilli powder heat.(30-06-2020, 06:05 PM)Small chilli Wrote: Beef phall with rice this evening.Ooooo that sounds dangerous, how many and what type of chillies went into that SC ?. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Small chilli - 01-07-2020 Thai soup starter. it was fantastic and it also uses courgettes. I got to use my spiralizer for the first time to https://www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/quick-and-easy/thai-coconut-courgetti-soup/ RE: Tonight’s recipe - SarrissUK - 01-07-2020 I had leftover chicken with lemon, chickpeas and spinach for lunch and delicious it was too. Tea was the left over crab that got turned into a crab salad with biscuits and crisps. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Bren - 02-07-2020 Cheese burger and salad. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Broadway - 02-07-2020 Pie, Mash, and Onion Gravy RE: Tonight’s recipe - Bren - 02-07-2020 We nearly had pie and mash Danny but I seem to have a lot of lettuce RE: Tonight’s recipe - Can the Man - 02-07-2020 (01-07-2020, 08:43 PM)Small chilli Wrote:I would really love to taste a Phalanx but I wouldn’t take the risk of ordering one and not being able to eat it. What you did sounds feasible. I often throw a few of my frozen chillies in to my curry along with chilli powder. Looking forward to my new chillies the plants are flowering.(30-06-2020, 10:25 PM)Can the Man Wrote:Not nearly as many as the recipe said. It was more of a madras heat. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Can the Man - 02-07-2020 I made a Lamb Rendang using a Sainsbury’s paste and it was one of the nicest curry I have ever made. No need for extra chilli or anything, used light coconut milk as well and no splitting of the sauce. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Small chilli - 03-07-2020 Toad in the hole made with beef & horseradish sausages. Accompanied by carrots & broccoli. Followed by chocolate chip muffin. |
