RE: Tonight’s recipe - Can the Man - 29-05-2021 House special satay extra spicy with boiled rice RE: Tonight’s recipe - Small chilli - 30-05-2021 Round to the neighbours for fish, chips & onion rings. They caught the biggest fish today, so they cooked . I filled the fish and provided pudding. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Can the Man - 30-05-2021 Chicken curry and rice because I was to tired to bbq RE: Tonight’s recipe - Can the Man - 30-05-2021 (30-05-2021, 11:39 PM)Small chilli Wrote: Round to the neighbours for fish, chips & onion rings. What kind of fish did you ‘fill’ SC ? RE: Tonight’s recipe - Small chilli - 31-05-2021 I filleted a pollock. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Bren - 31-05-2021 Yesterday we had Rosemary, Garlic Lamb, roast potatoes/parsnips/onions with carrots, cabbage and peas. Having the same today and by the looks of it there'll be plenty of roasties to freeze. RE: Tonight’s recipe - JJB - 31-05-2021 (31-05-2021, 07:32 AM)Small chilli Wrote: I filleted a pollock. Don't be rude RE: Tonight’s recipe - Small chilli - 31-05-2021 Pork & leek sausages with whole grain mustard mash, veg & gravy. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Vinny - 02-06-2021 Whilst weeding at the allotment today I came a cross some nice looking leeks which were just starting to bolt. I brought half a dozen home then wondered what to do with them? I found this recipe online which looks nice and I will probably add a few boiled eggs as extra protein. https://www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/vegetarian/sage-and-halloumi-roasted-broccoli-with-caramelised-leeks/ I have just cut out the central core and chopped up leeks (green included). I didn't want to experiment but reckon the central core would be ok as people eat garlic scapes which basically are bolted garlic? All leeks washed and prepared for tomorrows meal anyway. I'm looking forward to it and the house stinks of leeks! RE: Tonight’s recipe - Small chilli - 02-06-2021 On way back from the thriving metropolis of Tobermory this evening. We got fish & chips and sat here to eat them [attachment=3052] Looking out over the sound of Mull |
