Out went the wellies, clogs and dog clothes.
In came a small white poinsettia and a box of Milk Tray. Wonder how long I can last without buying chocolate this year?

Today, In came a huge tub of wild bird seed. I don't usually buy bird seed because it gets scattered out of the feeders and onto the ground for the rats to find. However, a free tub was too good to ignore.Wink The chooks will eat it!

In came a Desk Chair, a very nice Superdry puffy jacket, a bag of random new/almost new clothes (some of which I'll keep - the rest will be regifted) and a 250gr tin of Fortnum & Mason Ground coffee. Very upmarket from my usual Value pack of instant coffee. Bet I won't like it. Wink
Also picked up some coffee grounds for Mr Greedy, a prescription and some lateral flow tests!

Out went.........wait for it..........a bag of old coins for a small child.

Yesterday I swapped a bag of books for another bag of books and took 2 more bags of books to Morries Charity book stall.

I’ve just had to put lots of paperbacks into the recycling centre…absolutely no one wanted them, including the charity shops! Sad!

What a waste, Jay. They'd have been snapped up here - probably by me. Wink

I know Veggie, it actually made me feel sick when I had to do it! Pity you don’t live closer!! Big Grin

I've just collected 2 cvarrier bags of sourdough bread and rolls - the smell of fresh warm bread wafting through the car as I drove home was almost enough for me to stop at the road side and eat one! I didn't because that would have looked daft - I was only 2 miles from home.
The Moneyless Chicken has plenty of bread for the next couple of weeks. Big Grin

Why would anyone give away sourdough bread?? I can smell them from here, lovely.

Not quite up to the Moneyless Chicken's standards but went into town to buy something for my pal's birthday next week. We girls stress to each other not to pay a lot and charity shop stuff is fine. Managed to get a couple of books that all three of us will read eventually, some earrings in a sale, a block of chocolate with liquorice bits in (disgusting) and a couple of knick nacks. A good haul, especially when I had no idea what to get. My pals are very difficult to buy for, they're not gardeners!

The bread comes from a local bakery https://www.alexgoochbaker.com/ Unsold bread is given away on Olio and there seem to be regulars who collect on certain days and then share it out locally.
I'm fortunate that one of the regulars is on the Freebie site too. Big Grin

I ate one of the rolls lunchtime with peanut butter and a yellow sticker nectarine as filling.
