I'm going to harvest mine too soon I've had a look at the one I have and it isn't the Thermo King but a Thermo Komp 700 like this on Amazon at £180. I just can't see me paying that amount for a bin ![]() https://www.amazon.co.uk/Compost-litre-build-access-compost/dp/B007MLTGXW PS, if yours is like that and any cheaper, please let me have the details RE: 2021 - What I did today - Broadway - 10-11-2021 Started collecting leaves from the church grounds, I did seek permission ![]() RE: 2021 - What I did today - SarrissUK - 10-11-2021 (10-11-2021, 09:33 AM)JJB Wrote:(10-11-2021, 12:16 AM)SarrissUK Wrote: I have a hexagonal thermoking that I bought just a few months ago. I'm going to harvest mine too soon Mine is a Thermo King, got it from the council subsidised company getcomposting for £150. I also bought the base plate and a caddy RE: 2021 - What I did today - JJB - 10-11-2021 Thanks Sarriss RE: 2021 - What I did today - Small chilli - 11-11-2021 Covered a bit more of the raised beds. Emptied the salad bar. Topped up 3 fish boxes and planted 3 varieties of tulip, iris painted lady & allium (can’t remember variety, but it’s on the label). Put some sweet pea seeds in soaking. Now going to put some more nails in a roof. Look at the Ingredients!!(10-11-2021, 12:16 AM)SarrissUK Wrote: I have a hexagonal thermoking that I bought just a few months ago. I'm going to harvest mine too soon Product description This six sided 700 litre compost bin has an easy assembly pin system, helps you to produce a nutritional soil improver for your garden. The compost bin has flat sides, a hinged lid and a bottom panel which swings open when the rod is pulled up. As well as helping you do your part for the environment, the compost bin itself is made from 100% recycled material. Suitable for large / medium gardens. Ingredients Green tea collagen RE: 2021 - What I did today - JJB - 11-11-2021 You're quite right Veggie, I noticed that and had a laugh with P. RE: 2021 - What I did today - Spec - 11-11-2021 I cut the grass today, I don't think I have ever cut grass as late in the year as this, also cut up aster and dahlia stems along with a number of cardboard boxes, compost bin is about full, hopefully by spring time it will be ready to use RE: 2021 - What I did today - Veggie - 14-11-2021 It was so nice to be able to work in the garden today after many days of rain. The ground is still sodden but didn't stop me hacking away at brambles, pulling up montbretia, periwinkle and all the other plants that threaten garden domination. I've added feverfew, pink campion and lemon balm to my "pull 'em out" list now. RE: 2021 - What I did today - JJB - 15-11-2021 Although dull it wasn't cold so emptied the black plastic square manure bin. It had about 4" of very rotted horse muck in the bottom, so cleared that out and refilled it from bags of less rotted muck stored at the top of the garden. Lots of trips up and down resulted in a bin full of horse muck and the patch at the top now free of lots of yellow sacks, looking a lot tidier. In between times raked and shredded leaves. I'm shattered. ![]() |
