I've had a look at the one I have and it isn't the Thermo King but a Thermo Komp 700 like this on Amazon at £180. I just can't see me paying that amount for a bin

Mine is a Thermo King, got it from the council subsidised company getcomposting for £150. I also bought the base plate and a caddy

Covered a bit more of the raised beds. Emptied the salad bar. Topped up 3 fish boxes and planted 3 varieties of tulip, iris painted lady & allium (can’t remember variety, but it’s on the label). Put some sweet pea seeds in soaking. Now going to put some more nails in a roof.

I cut the grass today, I don't think I have ever cut grass as late in the year as this, also cut up aster and dahlia stems along with a number of cardboard boxes, compost bin is about full, hopefully by spring time it will be ready to use

It was so nice to be able to work in the garden today after many days of rain. The ground is still sodden but didn't stop me hacking away at brambles, pulling up montbretia, periwinkle and all the other plants that threaten garden domination. I've added feverfew, pink campion and lemon balm to my "pull 'em out" list now.

Although dull it wasn't cold so emptied the black plastic square manure bin. It had about 4" of very rotted horse muck in the bottom, so cleared that out and refilled it from bags of less rotted muck stored at the top of the garden. Lots of trips up and down resulted in a bin full of horse muck and the patch at the top now free of lots of yellow sacks, looking a lot tidier. In between times raked and shredded leaves. I'm shattered.
