RE: The build - Small chilli - 23-01-2021 Collecting more fencing materials this morning. Permission from all concerned was given. [attachment=2046] RE: The build - Small chilli - 26-01-2021 We are now the proud owners of our first interior door . Better still it was free . Sc not sure what you are going to do with the telegraph poles, but I used the same type of poles for a boundary fence, which has been up for several years, with no deterioration to the poles and they are beside a drainage ditch, which always has water running, I also put a fence up in a dryer area with similar poles but after cutting to length I halfed them length wise which of course gives twice the amount to use, they split easily using a felling axe and heavy hammer RE: The build - Vinny - 26-01-2021 (23-01-2021, 02:22 PM)Small chilli Wrote: Collecting more fencing materials this morning. Permission from all concerned was given.I imagine telegraph posts would be good for gate posts and straining points for wires on the corners of the plot? RE: The build - Small chilli - 26-01-2021 (26-01-2021, 01:04 PM)Vinny Wrote:Exactly right that man . They are going to be used as strainers & corner posts. The rest of our posts are going to be metal with stock net on the bottom half and 3 or 4 strands of plain wire on the top, up to deer proofing height. All round the plot the plot.(23-01-2021, 02:22 PM)Small chilli Wrote: Collecting more fencing materials this morning. RE: The build - Small chilli - 26-01-2021 Here’s the outline of our plot. That’s where the fence is going.
