RE: 2022 - What I did today - SarrissUK - 11-10-2022 I've put all my pelargoniums in the greenhouse so they don't freeze. That's all I can manage outdoors when I have to go into the office. RE: 2022 - What I did today - Veggie - 11-10-2022 De-brambling and ousting of Montbretia in the South Strip. Tomato plant thinning; GH watering. GH mangetout and CFB are cropping and making me happy. A late sowing that's worthwhile. RE: 2022 - What I did today - JJB - 12-10-2022 (11-10-2022, 07:21 PM)Veggie Wrote: De-brambling and ousting of Montbretia in the South Strip. Any point asking when they were sown? RE: 2022 - What I did today - Veggie - 12-10-2022 Of course there's a point! 28/29th July. the ones in the GH are more advenced than the outdoor ones. RE: 2022 - What I did today - JJB - 12-10-2022 I'll make a note somewhere to sow a second batch next year around early July. Then lose the note I'm not sure whether it will work for me as they'll have to be outside and usually both outside and gh are chock a block. Nevertheless planning and preparation prevent poor performance, although I've never mastered the art. RE: 2022 - What I did today - Farendwoman - 12-10-2022 Got round to sowing some sweet peas at last. Also got stabbed in both arms (flu and covid booster). One arm is bruised and aching (flu) so wish I’d had that one in my left arm! As I cut down a tomato, I sown about 6 peas in its place - so stop making excuses and do it. ...........NOW. (PS, you missed out one of the Ps in Planning) RE: 2022 - What I did today - JJB - 12-10-2022 [quote pid='44741' dateline='1665578855'] I've just sown more Bijou in the GH. I was going to mix up some cement for another project but weather forecast isn't good for rest of day. Tomorrow is supposed to be bright so I've put off the cement work until then. |
