Second  collection - Indonesian peanut satay, Hoisin sauce, Sri Lankan curry kit, Thai green curry paste, Smoky Harissa tagine sauce, prepared chestnuts x 2,  M&S cranberry & orange panettone and 3 packets of Angel Delight which I'll give to the £5 Pantry.

Well pleased with today's freebies. Big Grin
Just been recalled to the Prawn Lady. She'd asked me this morning if I liked fish - as she doesn't! That'll be 6 packs of prawns,  2 more packs of breaded cod, plus more yogurt, a baby waxed cheddar cheese, oranges, garlic, noodles, pack of shortcrust pastry, 8 pints of milk and 3 packs of tomatoes!!

In case you think this is a one way trade I've given her 2 Grodnertals today...............that'll be your new thing you've learnt. Big Grin

Grodnertals. A new one to me. Can't say as I'd want one though but an interesting conversation piece.

Grodnertals. Years ago I went to a house to collect something that was being given away FREE, of course. Can't remember what it was but it was in the garage belonging to the house of someone who had died. A family member was trying to clear the contents and he told me to take anything I wanted from the garage. It was full of "treasure". The Grodnertals were in a wooden cigar box. I had no idea what they were at the time but they were unusual so I brought them home. I also took some big jugs, that turned out to be collectable. 1930s era, I think. Can't remember what else - some has already been passed on.
Anyway, I've been wondering what to do with the Grodnertals. They're not really toys for kids to play with as too fragile, but the Prawn Lady had mentioned that she like old things - so she is now the owner. Apparently her children are researching their history and have said that the dolls will stay in the family for ever!!

BTW, I've just collected more food from the Prawn lady - 8 bags of clementines, 2 bags of apples, avocado x 2, Scotch pancakes x 5, Yeo valley yogurt x 3 and 4 Scotch eggs.
