Wonderful find. Looks a bit like bubble wrap!

My latest new thing. Won a £5 voucher. And before you say that’s not new. It’s not gardening related  Blush

That's a coincidence because I've just won a prize too! I could choose what I wanted from the prizes on a list. Needless to say the most expensive items had gone but most of them I wouldn't have chosen anyway. I've asked for a Cake Treat Box from a local cake shop.

My doing summat different for today was shopping at Tesc*s which I haven't done for at least a year as I always thought they were overpriced?

Today though I thought I would try Tescrat as I call it, to see if I could get a duck for Crimbo.I was pleasantly surprised they had fresh duck at £9.00, but also frozen duck at £9.00 or £6.50 with clubcard! CoolThe frozen duck actually weighrd more so three gueses which one I got. Rolleyes
Lambs liver was the best I have ever seen with large slices not bits and pieces. Quite a bit of stuff has money off with the clubcard (sometimes not even highlighted until you get the bill.)
So all in all a 'big up' for them and the cleanliness and freshness of the produce will make me have a return visit pretty soon.

It’s about smart meters not working up here. If it’s a news segment or a program on the subject, I really don’t know. As I needed to be as far away from tv cameras as possible. I went to work early    Big Grin .

the short version, the not that smart meters run on analog up here, for what ever reason. Unsurprisingly they don’t work. And none of the electric providers or meter installers are listening or doing anything about it.

Never found one before.
Do they shed skin like a snake or do you think it was a dead one?

A slow worm is a legless lizard, they shed their skin regularly and can lose their tails if threatened. No I didn't ask the Duck for this info - I used to a be a slow-worm handler. Big Grin

One wonders how one becomes a slow worm handler. It's  one of those very obscure jobs.
