RE: Tonight’s recipe - Small chilli - 05-02-2021 Repeat of last night. Roast chicken RE: Tonight’s recipe - PyreneesPlot - 06-02-2021 Today will be homemade pizza as it always is on the first and last Saturday of the Six Nations! (Allez les Bleus !) RE: Tonight’s recipe - Broadway - 06-02-2021 Chicken Curry, Rice, Bombay Potatoes, Nan/Chapati RE: Tonight’s recipe - Vinny - 06-02-2021 Chicken stir fry with rice for me and home made cottage pie with extra mash for missus. All the recipes for fennel gratin use cream, which I haven't got, so it might be cheesy topped fennel or fennel in a cheese sauce. Tasted it raw and thought it was a bit too aniseedy for me, but could grow on me, but blanched and braised/gratineed might be fine. I've got 2 bulbs, might save one for risotto. Oh these decisions! RE: Tonight’s recipe - Can the Man - 06-02-2021 Irish stew RE: Tonight’s recipe - JJB - 06-02-2021 (06-02-2021, 04:24 PM)JJB Wrote:(06-02-2021, 04:08 PM)Broadway Wrote:(06-02-2021, 04:04 PM)JJB Wrote: Something with fennelI was going to ask if you'd had the fennel Fennel is in the oven, I boiled the tough tops a little longer to taste 'au naturel' - a bit like braised celery and quite pleasant. So that's a thumbs upfrom me, but celery is a lot cheaper if you're buying. RE: Tonight’s recipe - Bren - 06-02-2021 Tagliatelle, bol, garlic bread, parmesan and a glass of red. |
