Something Nasty in the Woodshed? (Warning! - post contains a photo of a snake) - PyreneesPlot - 13-07-2020 Well, no - think it is an aesculapian snake, squeezed up into the top of the garden/wood shed - the roof and walls are black so get lovely and warm, perfect for reptiles in the morning. It got bored of being admired yesterday and uncurled and disappeared behind the wood in the other shed that backs onto this one so we see it was about a metre in length, so a bit of growing to do yet. Snakes are always welcome in my garden especially the ones like this who eat voles!! [attachment=732] RE: Something Nasty in the Woodshed? (Warning! - post contains a photo of a snake) - Scarlet - 13-07-2020 Even though I'm not too bothered I think it would freak me out if it was above my head! RE: Something Nasty in the Woodshed? (Warning! - post contains a photo of a snake) - Bren - 13-07-2020 I’m with you there scarlet. I’m fine with snakes unless they sneak up on me. RE: Something Nasty in the Woodshed? (Warning! - post contains a photo of a snake) - PyreneesPlot - 13-07-2020 I confess that I am walking the long way round on the path, but inside the snake is above a wheel barrow so I've decided to use the other one!! An update - I think it is about to shed its skin because the skin over the eye is blue and opaque. RE: Something Nasty in the Woodshed? (Warning! - post contains a photo of a snake) - Vinny - 13-07-2020 Don't like snakes, don't like eels. I wouldn't hurt one though unless it was trying to eat me. RE: Something Nasty in the Woodshed? (Warning! - post contains a photo of a snake) - PyreneesPlot - 13-07-2020 You're ok Vinny, we don't have man-eating eels in this part of the mountains!! RE: Something Nasty in the Woodshed?
