As I understand it, a smiley or emoticon can be made with the keyboard. For example Big Grin is made by using a colon : and capital D together, but an emoji is an actual little picture. So I suppose emojis can be more detailed.

I can't add my other smilies/emojios whatever they are...

And I can't get my signature to save.
argh - they were there but vanished on posting Huh ? (its window key + . to get emoji menu pop up)

Well we used have a bee, a chilli a chickens head and others, I thought they would be nice to still have them.
