The best bit is - apart from buying the gravel for the path (and most of that was in broken bags sold cheap) - it hasn't cost anything. Hoping to have enough of the log edging to edge the top of the new path so that it echoes the bottom path. There'll be a bit of rock shuffling to do and lots more montbretia to pull up.
Its getting there now.
P is very impressed both on speed and quality ( his exact words) and is totally aware of the amount of work you've had to do. Even better that it was nearly free.
PS I wouldn't worry what P thinks, I don't
Not much done on the rockery today apart from giving the bay tree a bit of a trim.
Started another little job - liberating Arthur from the brambles and nettles. Poor old chap - its hard to believe I used to sit on his knee and watch the world go by.
We need more info on Arthur.
Its been too hot to look after Arthur - he's very needy. Actually, he's been watching Wimbledon so hasn't missed me.
^^^ glad you cleared that up for me
.
There was a clue in there but you're probably too young.
I’m none the wiser. Your cryptic clue is lost on me
.
Arthur can't be a womble, can he?
Thanks veggie. A very interesting read. I name plants after people too
.
I’ve got lemmy (the late Motörhead lead singer) the lemon tree.
Amelia (Earhart) avocado
(Tadej) Pogačar pomegranate
(Tadej pogačar won the Tour de France for the first time the year I got the pomegranate seedling).
