Well done Bren, it is a wire twisty tie thing. For tying all our foundations re enforcing grids and boot & beam links.

I’ll own up MrB gave me the answer,  he’s probably got one in his shed.

It looks a bit like something the ancient Egyptians might have used to hook brains out through the nose when turning someone into a mummy!

I thought it might be an old fashioned boot button hook. Wrong!
