My daughter has moved into a new house and would like to know what is growing in her garden (hopefully none are poisonous). Pictures taken this week:

1. [attachment=2293]

2. [attachment=2294]

3. [attachment=2295]

4. [attachment=2296]
Best guesses:-

1??
2. Ribes - Flowering currant
3. ?Hebe
3. Are the undersides of the leaves a different colour to the top side - a gold/bronze colour? Maybe an Eleagnus?
Are these photos recent? They all have leaves now?

1. Could be c. Montana - perennial cornflower.
2.I'll go with VC - but much easier to if when they all have leaves
3. I'm with hebe
4. I really think I know this- I'm sure I have it in my garden. The dark stem is so familiar.
Could 4 be Abelia?
Not sure on 1 or 2, agree 3 looks like a Hebe. Could 4 be pittosporum tenuifolium?
1. Agree with Scarlet
2 agree with Veggie & Scarlet
3 & 4 no idea

I don't think so - I have that....and I've just read that the photos were taken recently. It does flower but they are very nondescript. Not abelia either.
I think we need better photos?

Viburnums flower now?

this is bugging me Big Grin
Re. 4 - Not sure that they are flowers - maybe there were flowers there last year and its what remains after the petals have dropped off - ?bracts?
Ok - yes, you could be right! I'll think again.
I keep thinking of honeysuckle- but I'd really like a better photo of the plant - "flowers/bracts, leaves.
