Pretty good, TMTT.................but not perfect.
I've put the names alongside the plants to put you out of your misery.
Turns out I don’t know my onions. That was very interesting. Thanks, I’ll know better from now on....hopefully
Another new kid on the block, well to me anyway
Veggie, I assume you haven't eaten the "Three cornered leeks"??
Yes, I eat the Three cornered leeks but I don[t recommend planting them except in a container as they spread easily.
If they weren't invasive, they're worth growing. The flowers are lovely - like white bluebells. The leaves are usable throughout winter when there's not much else. They're like spring onions.
I made a mistake by planting them as I hadn't realised at the time how much they spread. I dig up clumps of them now, eat the leaves and burn the roots (NOT in the compost!). Also mow off the flowers before they set seed.
Such a shame as, otherwise, they have everything going for them.
Foiled by a three cornered leek!
Never heard of the darn things!
Apparently, on reading up on them, its an offence to grow this in the wild as its so invasive.
