Does anyone have a list please?
Do you mean seeds that shouldn't be covered with compost when sowing?

Yes Veggie

I wanted to minimise the growlight space to seeds needing light to germinate as well as growing on germinated seeds.

Not a list but you can search for your variety and any which need light have it included in the germination requirements.

Seeds (covered in compost) don't need Light to germinate - but seedlings need it to grow. However seeds may benefit from heat to germinate.
Unless your Growlight is heated, you may as well keep the space for seedlings and let your seeds germinate anywhere else you like.
Fair enough but would be nice to know what needs covering and not. It's probably on the packets but who reads instructionsSmileSmileSmile
