This morning, the Met Office cancelled the storm warning and gave us a light drizzle that isn't enough to lay the dust, let alone fill the waterbutts.

Same here.  Met Office keep dangling promises. They said overnight,  then this lunchtime now a suggestion of some dampness at 3pm.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed but not holding my breath.
We had some overnight rain but that’s all, it’s supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon instead. We’ll see.
We had steady rain for about 90 minutes last evening and it's raining now.

Far short of the promised rains
We need a bit rain. But only through the night please. Big Grin

Problem is round here, once it starts, it forgets to stop! Rolleyes
It's raining! Up early and doing a bit of water management. Traipsing up the garden with full watering cans to douse the gh borders. P will get the pump out when he wakes up Smile.
Fair bit of rain here Smile
Still waiting for rain but its cloudy and a lot cooler today. Can do stuff in the GH without melting.
It's been raining here for the last 4 hours, I'm expecting my water butts to be full Smile
The forecast for here has gone from 2 cm of rain this weekend to 2 mm. Could really do with it piddling down.
No rain forecast here for next week at least. All water butts on empty and most areas of garden are bone dry.

April was cold and dry (frosts most nights), May was very wet till about 24th, no rain since but plenty of sunshine.
