Agreed Jay, it's all in perspective.  There are some round here I don't understand either, and it's even worse the further southwest you go Smile  I remember mother saying she didn't approve of the Beetles because of their Liverpudlian accents - that wouldn't happen these days.

Is that what you call it?? Smile  you speak different up there.
joking apart it is a brilliant drama.  I am always facinated how the dress the 1940/50 sets and Martin Compston outside of Line of Duty is novel.

Jen it all took place in the late 50s, I remember the trial taking place, as for the language, its good to hear people speaking properly, though like most of the Scottish productions it is very Anglicized, or subtitled, so that some people can understand the proper spoken wordBig GrinBig Grin
Time - 3 part BBC drama.

Might be a bit violent for some.
Your Honour - Bryan Cranston - 1 episode to go - very good - been a staggered watch rather than the usual full on binge due to semi-final interruptions - dog house again for me Wink
Sweet Tooth
Queen of the south. Just finished season 5 tonight. Mexican drugs cartel. Really enjoyed it.
Just started Maid and Squid Game, so far goodSmile
Seen Squid Game and another similar theme one that was dubbed in English (forgotten title - sorry).
Sad to hear that children have taken these "games" into school now - definitely not children's TV.
I'm currently watching "Foundation" - a made for tv series based loosely on the Asimov books, currently showing on Apple+.
