I ended up getting fed up of picking from them as took so long for miniscule tomatoes, so not on my grow list this year, but still have seed if you wanted to try.

They didn't suffer any blight either  x

Thank you Mamzie

I've dropped you a PM.
My list is short for this year with me growing three plants of  each type. Shy

1) Heinz
2)Black Russian
3) Craigella

The only one of these I have grown before is Black Russian. Cool

Craigella is an offshot of Ailsa Craig which I usually grow, minus the greenback apparently? Rolleyes

Heinz is self explanatory and supposedly tasteful and heavy cropping? Has anyone grown Heinz before and were they impressed? Huh
My lists this year is exactly the same as last year which is very unimaginative! Unless I come across something else I fancy  Big Grin

Gardener's Delight
Roma
Prince Borghese
Marmande
Brandywine Black
San Marzano
Craigella
Black Cherry
St Pierre
Sungold
Tiny Tim (In a hanging basket)
Pineapple
Golden Sunrise
Omar's Lebanese (My favourite from last year, but only got half a dozen fruit Sad )
Cherry Roma
Raspberry Oxheart

How many do you grow of each PP?
Six each of roma & san marzano for bottling, six prince borghese for drying and then usually one or two of the others for eating fresh.
I have an open-sided roofed frame that takes 36 plants climbing up strings.

Wow would love to see a photo of that in full swing.

You KNOW you have to do a YouTube tourSmileSmile
My list is very modest compared to some, but I do love tomatoes, so after extensive research here is my list:

  • Black Cherry - because everyone says how yummy it is
  • Sungold F1 - to find out what all the fuss is about!
  • Santonio F1 - baby plum, supposedly a good replacement for Rosada
  • Cherry Cascade - red tumbler, in hanging basket
  • Peardrops F1 - yellow baby pear tumbler, in hanging basket
  • Outdoor Girl - bush tomato
I mostly grow cherry varieties as they're better in salads. Last year my outdoor toms (First in the Field) suffered a lot of splitting owing to heavy rains, so I'll be mostly growing under cover (or in hanging baskets that can be moved indoors).

I'd like to phase out the F1s eventually, but since I don't have a lot of space I don't need many seeds each year, so a packet will last me for as long as the seeds remain viable.
My List this year, 4 of them are 5-6 years old so hoping all varieties make it through to saving
  • latah
  • alaskan fancy
  • grushovka pink
  • artisan pink tiger
  • paul robeson
  • brandywine
  • black vernissage
  • berkely tie dye
  • king humbert
  • nectar rose
  • cream sausage
