(Come on Tiny Tim, you lazy blighter!).

I've cut back on varieties too this year.

Tasmanian Chocolate (from TMTT)

Here's mine, it's in the greenhouse this year as it got battered by storms last year and they never ripened properly. Remember, like determinate tomatoes, they don't need pruning. Hopefully it's nice, we can compare notes later in the year Cool
Is that Tasmanian Chocolate, TMTT? I wanted to ask you how they grew!
I love the name because I lived in Tassie many years ago. Is there a story behind the name?

Yep, that's it. Rosella Purple is in the pot next to it. They only grow about 3 feet tall but branch like mad, they're like little tomato trees! It's caged to help support the branches as the fruit can be quite heavy.

A lot of the Dwarf Tomato Project varieties were bred/selected in Australia so there are quite a few with Oz-related names. You can see all the varieties here - https://www.dwarftomatoproject.net/shop/
Thanks for the Link. Not seen that before.
I doubly like the Tas tom because its from the "Happy family". Smile
