Growlight box Mk II, Mk. I was getting a bit overcrowded so I made a bigger box. Although the light is likely to be more diffused over a larger area, I figured it is better that than the plants being all bunched up.
Thanks for carrying the flag Jen, I still have them switched off!
Why??
I still haven't got enough seedlings to justify having it on! I need to sort out my next lot of sowings which I'll do tomorrow whilst the builders are here. This will include the 20odd seed share tomatoes!
I'm well impressed with your toms, JJB. I'd like to say the same about Broadway's ..............maybe one day.
Did you both buy the same light units? Can you give me a link JJB please?

I would add the caveat that a terenzo plant did not grow as well and stocky as Red Robin, it was a bit stragglier than I expected, and some Tumbling Tom seedlings look a little weedy.
Ta muchly.
I've ordered one for £17.50. There were so many that seemed identical that I chose on the basis of UK Plug and fastest delivery (By 2nd March).
Tumbling tomatoes always look more straggly than normal ones - don't know about Terenzo.
We have a light thingy club
everyone pretty in pink. Aaaah.
I'm having to ration the lights and use them to supplement at night as I've got too much to put under. Some babies get windowsill in the day and then crowd all together under the lights come sundown.
Are any of you leaving them on all day and all night? I understand the plants don't care whether they have a nighttime or not.
