Photo 2 ?
Photo 3 still don’t think it’s sloes, I’ll go with veggies superior knowledge.
Photo 4 cotoneaster
Photos 5&6 spindle
Hiya SC

Photo 2 is supposed to be the comparison between the hawthorn berry picked yesterday and the sloe picked today, I didn't get a picture of the blackthorn itself.

Photo 3 is just some random berrySmile
There's no such thing as a random berry - you need to be able to identify them, especially if you want to pick sloes to eat!!
I think Photo 3 is Cherry Laurel - not to be eaten!!

Photo 1 hawthorn

photo 3 privet - poisonous

photo 4 cotoneaster - poisonous

photo 5 & 6 spindle tree - poisonous

edit - 3 could be cherry laurel I suppose, but they don't usually drop their leaves to that extent, unless it's been smothered by undergrowth.
