Who has any Quail?
No Quail here but I did spy one in your post. So I'm counting that one Smile

I spy queen bee early in the spring looking for nesting sites

I used to have quail , until the mink had them.
Queen bee for me too - although I don't actively look for them the way we did when we had bee hives, many years ago.

I spy lots of Questioning birds this morning horrified that the majority of the feeders were empty

No! Nether would you if you smelt the things    Big Grin . Think how a ferret smells and then times it by 20 !
I spy redwings eating the berries in the holly tree. In summer red admiral butterflies.
