Here is the proof 9 veg isn’t OTT  Wink

Most days, potatoes, carrots, parsnips and some sort of greens.
If I'm doing a casserole it's carrots, swede, parsnips, onions, sweet peppers, and maybe celery in the pot, then potatoes and either runner beans or cabbage as well, so up to 8. Can't top you SC!

Apart from the "leg" it looks very appetising and I'd be delighted if you put that plate of food up for me.

We don't have nine usually its roasted potatoes, parsnips, onions and carrots, with steamed runners, kale and sometimes peas.

Bob probably mean there were not enough roast potatoes, not there were too many veg.

I think 8 roast spuds was not unfair    Tongue . 5 of them purple so not so noticeable on the plate  Big Grin .

I'm not to keen on purple ones either I thought they tasted odd a bit smokey..

Nope! They're just wrong - look like they're rotted or blighted. I think there are some growing at the end of the garden from volunteers - probably been there for a couple of years - but I can't bring myself o dig them up!!
