Full Version: My existing unnamed Chillies

The chillie plants I got a few weeks ago are still going strong, I think they are probably Jalapeño based on the heat from them when cooking with them.

That’s not a jalapeño. Not that shape. Looks more like a cayenne, but the pod is to pale green for an unripe cayenne. So no idea. Be interesting to see how much the heat increase when you try them ripe.

Update these chillies are Capsicum Annuum

You’ve only narrowed it down to the family. That’s like calling it mr smith  Big Grin
I think they are too thin to be anaheim. More likely to be a generic cayenne. Do you know the name of the company on the label? They may have some information on a website or you could contact them to ask.
