I wonder what the difference is between tromboncino d'albenga and trombetta d'albenga. ??

Not a lot of info however searches on "Tromba D'Albenga" has retured images with both yellow and green fruits??

Same thing - also called  tromba or - to me, trombones.!

I've only picked a baby trombo so far and want at least three to store. I find they keep well and I like the dense flesh of the non-horn end - they make good fondants or portion-sized baked rounds!

Does the courgette Verde have tromba envy? I've heard of that sort of thing but in a different context Smile

Ok tromba novice here what is it and what does it taste like. I’ve never grown it or thought about growing it, so I’m interested in your thoughts.
Once you've grown a Tromba you'll grow them every year.
Guaranteed to make you laugh - they taste good and store well too.
It’s a courgette for people that don’t like courgette. Cook it for 30 minutes and it’s still not mushy.
It very versatile. Chopped and roast it with you spuds. Big fat discs of it with Olive oil salt & pepper, pan fried like a steak.  Also used it instead of pasta, noodles & ribbons.  What ever you do with courgettes you can do with this. Just cook it a bit longer. Also they store well apparently (mine don’t get the chance). They’re fun to grow. What more convincing do you need  Big Grin .
What does it taste like?
