My elephant garlic that was left in the ground has thrown up shoots. Maybe you have some too?
I looked at my elephant garlic yesterday nothing showing. I replanted my bulbils at harvest time. I must split and plant a whole big grown up bulb.
The cloves I planted are just showing above ground!
