Great minds think alike How scary is that!
..............or, Little minds hardly differ. Smile
That's more likely, sadly, in my case. I think your mind is incredibly fertile..... if a little unorthodox at times Smile
Growing Shiraz this year as we have 3 varieties in a 2 metre raised bed and the purple pods are good for separating the green podding and sugar snap varieties. They're easy to see but not very sweet so we'll probably try Oregon Sugar Pod next year.

Just for you, I've picked some MT.

On the left, Delikett, on the right, Oregon Sugar Pod.

Not grown Delikett before - its shorter than OSP.
Greatly appreciated. Thank you. Although do I sense a slight showing off here? I hope you realise it's unkind to do that to a courgette bereft plotterer. I still won't have a clue next spring, I won't remember, but I've made a note in my book about Bijou, .......now where's my gardening book?
Do let us know which you prefer.
I didn't mention the courgettes - they sneaked in - as they do!
I've eaten the MT now - no strings attached. Smile
In their favour, they're only a 2-3' tall and cropping. Bijou would probably be taller - but they're still my preference.
I have some Jessy, round MT seeds from RS - don't know what they'll be like as they're still in the packet!!
Funny that, I find my seeds in the packet don't crop that well either Smile I think I will stay with your recommended Bijou.
I've grown Oregon sugar pod in the past - good cropper and it didn't mind the heat too much. But this year and last I've gone back to carouby de Maussane because the flowers are just so pretty I don't really mind if I don't get a lot of pods!
Bijou are back in stock with RS Smile
