I've just looked at my seedlings and Oregon Spring is looking great! I'd forgotten I'd sown it.
I always sow a Gardener's Delight tomato - just because I like the flavour and it does well for me.
I like gardeners delight. Not had any seed for a few years now. I’ve got so many varieties that I want to try. I’ve still not got round to replacing my gardeners delight.
Ok the decision is made. I’ve sown
Mountain princess (standard size Tom)
Reinhards purple sugar (cherry)
Mat-su express (beef)
Rambling red stripe (cherry, hanging basket)
Pendulina (cherry hanging basket)old seed 2018
Was very tempted to go with Black Russian as well. But I do have to fit other things in my polytunnel.
You’re right you don’t remember seeing pendulina on my list
. They were (luckily) in their own bag in with my bag of mixed tomato seeds. 37 varieties of old or tried & didn’t like/do well or just don’t appeal. They will get grown outside one day and I’ll just get what I get. Or I’ll give away any plants that germinate as lucky dip. Anything from micro toms to beefsteak variety. And every colour & shape under the sun
. Oldest seeds are 2011

The Fruits are big for a small plant but...........big BUT, I haven't had much luck germinating the seeds for a couple of years. If the seeds you have came from me, they'll be quite old and may not germinate.
Mountain princess the first to germinate
.
Mountain princess (standard size Tom) -
1st to germinate
Reinhards purple sugar (cherry) -
germinated
Mat-su express (beef) -
germinated
Rambling red stripe (cherry, hanging basket) -
still waiting & hoping
Pendulina (cherry hanging basket)old seed 2018 -
very surprisingly germinated
If I only grew one tomato it would be black icicle so that would be on my list
