Another very wet windy day.
Wet, then dry, then wet. Squally I think you'd call it. The dry lulls you into a false sense of security then dollops. I'm sure there's a weather god laughing its socks off.
Heavy rain and a strong wind from the east are bad news here. The wind drives the rain under the flashing on the roof of the extension and the rain drips through onto the kitchen table! The first hint will be the sound of a splash. Fortunately it always drips in the same place and a bowl on the table will catch it. Doesn't often happen as the wind is normally from the west.
Its hard to know where the problem is with the flashing as the only way to see it would be from a ladder when its actually blowing a gale!
A nice sunshiny, breezy day but cold. Dried a load of washing in the sun which is always a bonus.
Today is the First day of Meteorological Spring and St David's Day. To mark the occasion we've had hailstones, lots of hailstones! In between the hail we had heavy rain.
Welcome to Spring. Big Grin
We’ve had a stunning day. I even dried some laundry outside.
Covering of snow yesterday. Still here today,Kato will be in his element! Smile
Snow and ice still. Dodgy walking and driving.
We have sunshiny clouds with the odd shower but it's blimmin cold
It went down to -3.1°C last night and it's all frosty this morning. Beautiful sunshine which is due to last most of the day. Bring it on! I'm sowing tomatoes today.
