No … they aren’t going to do anything. They’ve completely had it.
thank goodness I didn’t pay the original asking price of £4.99.
The sweet peas I sowed a couple of weeks ago are showing no signs of life whatsoever..................they're T&M seeds!!
I'm going to empty all the T&M sweetpea packets into a jar and sow the lot outdoors in spring. Meanwhile, I'll sow somebody else's Sweetpeas for overwintering. In fact, I have so little faith in T&M/Suttons seeds I'm not going to waste any more time and compost sowing them - they can all have a chance outdoors. That'll show them!!
Twelve packets of T&M Sweetpeas emptied into an jar. Also have 2 packets of T&M perennial sweetpeas from 2016............don't fancy their chances!
You're tempting me to find some sweet peas to sow. My autumn sown ones never seem to thrive, maybe they were T&M.
I couldn't decide which sweetpeas to sow so, in your honour, JJB, I've sown Wiltshire Ripple about 70 seeds! Seeds from Nutsncones/Kings Seeds bought last year.
I sowed some Unwins old fashioned mixed sweet peas a few weeks ago. They had about 40% germination despite not being out of date, it was a pack I picked up at Wilko for 5p. I've checked on them and they're doing ok, the slugs haven't found them at least.

I've never succeeded in overwintering sweet peas before so I'm really hoping I have luck this time.
Well ....my Lidl 29 pencers are sprouting like b**gery!
