I gave one to son2 for Christmas-
He uses it all the time! I can't remember the brand but it wasnt expensive and it has been used most days in his student digs...by the whole house. He raves about it all the time.
I seen a great video on Instagram of a person making American style pancakes in an air fryer, they were using a paper liner and they looked really good. I bought a load of paper liners for our air fryer and it really saves on the mess for cleaning afterward and depending on what your cooking you can get 2 or uses out of the liner. It’s great for heating up sausage rolls and keeps the pastry crispy whereas the microwave makes the pastry soft and soggy.
Haven’t considered getting one before - but reading the comments here, might have to give it some thought!
I'e just 'Bit the bullet' and ordered a cheap Tower Air Fyer from Amazon for delivery tomorrow. I also ordered some greaseproof paper inserts for it.

My Daughter was the deciding factor when she told me she hasn't used her oven for six months, since she got hers.

If nothing else it will cut down on the time (and cost) it takes to cook Kato's chicken thighs. He has one or two thighs each day and I usually cook them in batches of four taking 50 minutes of oven time.

Watch this space and I will post a follow up after I have used it for a while. Smile
Interested in your views Vinny, look forward to your opinion.
By coincidence, I've just come home with a FREE Halogen cooker - only been used twice! The donor said that she uses a more modern airfryer now and has stopped using her oven.
Chicken thighs would cook in 10-15 minutes in the Halogen.
