Still waiting for a courgette - this is the slowest year ever.

The dry spell didn't help.

This will make you green with envy Veggie. My score is now 32 Courgettes from three plants!

Quite impressed by Emilie, the fruit are not particularly long but do grow fat enough. It has sent out 2 branches along the floor that should be ties up but will just have to manage as they are. She is filling the space next to her left by her dead twin.

1 Konsa. I'm not going to bother with that one next year, it's too prickly. There would be more but I'm letting some stay o the vine. I'm overloaded with cucs. Will I learn? Probably not. Delistar and BA will be on the list for next season. Emilie is good but similar to BA so not growing both, it'll be a toss up.

A day away and what do you get? Cucumbers! 4 BA 4 Emilie, 1 Delistar & 2 Konsa. I'm off to research cucumber recipes. Mystic Meg sees cucumber relish on the horizon.
