Yep I read that you could send music  or something encoded within the barcode but heaven only knows how.
............how or why!! Gimmick.
I wonder what tune would be appropriate on a seed swap envelope?

Royal Mail now apparently uses an UV franking system that can detect re-used stamps.

Thanks Moth, even though its not good news!
That article was from 2017 so not about the new stamps. I looked at a book of 4 we have and the barcodes on each stamp is different so I expect they can tell from that if a stamp is being reused.
If that was the system in 2017, it wasn't very good. Wink
