Happy birthday!
I wonder whether Can is in sunnier climes. Doesn't he normally go away for his birthday?

You know me so well JJB.

Thank you all for the kind birthday wishes, and yes I am in sunny Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands where we are enjoying between 26-31’C.
I celebrated my 62nd birthday by waking up yesterday morning Wednesday the 12th at 6:00 with terrible cramp n my lower left abdomen, and after trying everything I had to go to the doctors over here, and after they relieved me of €460 they called an ambulance and sent me to the local hospital where I had a stomach X-ray, blood and urine tests and they eventually decided I had kidney stones. This is the 2nd time I've had kidney stones out here. Any way they had me on an IV drip for 2 hours and eventually sent me home with high strength pain killers and told  me to see a specialist when i get home and to drink lots of water.
So I’ve arranged to see a urologist on Monday afternoon, i fly home on Saturday afternoon.
Worst birthday ever.
Hope you’re feeling better soon can.
Kidney stones are awful, you have my sympathies Can. P has also had them twice and says the pain is excruciating. Hope it gets better soon, what a shame it spoilt your birthday.
Not a good day Can, hopefully Mondays appointment will go well.
Sorry to hear that Can, all the best
How you feeling now, Can? Hope you get some good news from the Doc today. x
Hi all, thanks for the well wishes, I have been taking the pain killers so not felt any pain. Been to the urologist today, he seems to think it as not kidney stones and has organised a CT scan for me for tomorrow afternoon, really impressed with his efficiency. He has told me to stop taking the pain killers and see if any pain develops.
Good news I think, Can. Fingers crossed for a good outcome.
