Does anyone grow either of these please? I have a lot of seeds but reluctant to grow them as I keep reading that they're "bitter".
Are they?
Yes. They’re bitter. But some people like them. I’m not a fan. But then I think little gem is bitter and horrible.
Does blanching them not take the bitterness away?
I've had endive abroad and quite liked it, but never grown it.
