It’s 10years old and has stood up well the only damage was where the plastic touches the metal hoops mostly on the sunniest side. Should last for a few more years now.
My poly tunnel has like a strip of weather foam between the poly and the metal hoops, might be worth looking into
Cutting down more rhododendrons
First fish box full of cuttings has been potted on into individual pots. Another 2 to do, but got rained off today.
Removed two more toms plants from my GH,
Gathered sweet pea and french beans seeds for next year.
Spread more dalek compost in bare areas.
Topped up dalek with kitchen scraps

Topped up weed daleks

Started clearing Cucurbits patch
Potted up some more cuttings that have taken. I’m going to have a lot of clematis and salvia hot lips !!
Topped up weed daleks, again!Smile

Covered Cucurbits patch with membrane

Started collecting leaves, 4 bin bags today
Did some weeding on one of the few fenced off areas where I could let the chooks roam freely without having to watch where they were all the time.
The pups dug holes after moles/voles/who knows what and were filthy; Bess fetched apples for me to throw for her and the chooks pecked and scratted about, closely followed by the Robin.
Can't say it looks much clearer than we started but we enjoyed ourselves and that's what matters . Smile
Took the little one to the plot for the first time in over a week. She splashed in puddles and poked at the wood chip with the hand fork. I left with a big bunch of dahlias and cosmos plus a pocket full of drying Tiger CFB. Everyone was happy.
Painted my new turf shed that my son built for me and mounted an insect lodge on the side

I have dug out potatoes from the poly tunnel that the whitefly attacked and killed the stems, most were golf ball size so are still useable.

I bought a brown mushroom growing kit, and set it up today looking forward to some fresh mushrooms.

Repotted some shrubs for the patio.
