Scabious "Blue Cushion". It is a hardy annual. Which reminds me that I need more seeds because I want some perennials too!
I love scabious / I have a lovely white annual that I save from every year - but I would love a couple of perennials tho save me sowing so many.

Roses, achillea, flax, daisies, scabious
The wind rudely broke my tall sunflower, so the remaining buds came in. Accompanied by rose, scabiosa, cosmo, dahlia, smaller sunflowers (from the birdseed!), daisies, and gladiolus.
