Brings back memories.
When I worked as a University Sports Groundsman (now Groundsperson probably)
we had to identify about 20 different types of grass, solely by their seed. We even had mixed bags of various grass seeds and after taking out a handful had to identify the seeds within and what percentage there was of each? It was interesting and I would like to think I could still perform well in a seed ident now if I had to.
We also had to identify the grass type by the seed inflorecence and there growth habit ie rhysomatous/stoloniferous, height, colour etc.
Canny little site Veggie!
Brilliant Veggie, thanks.
I just used the site to double check I’d labelled the seeds I got yesterday correctly.
