I’m have trouble with my luffa. No idea what the problem is. They go from healthy to dead in 24 hours.

I’m doing nothing different. It’s effected 4 so far.
How’s yours doing veggie?

Photo of the stages.

[attachment=247][attachment=248]I have 4 but they haven't been planted out yet. You're worrying me now!

One of mine is making a bid for freedom.
They look fantastic.
Wonder what I’m doing wrong? They get to 2 true leaves, then die.
Dunno - but they're the seeds you sent me!

Are you potting them on too soon?
I sowed mine in one of those strip modules and moved them to a 4 module tray, that they're in now.
I only potted them on after the first one died in a little pot. It could be too much space.

Sea Spring Seeds have posted a photo of their luffas. Mine haven't even started to climb yet!
That’s just come up on my fb page  Big Grin .

That’s very impressive.
If I should be lucky enough to get a luffa from my plants it'll be the size of a gherkin. Not sure they've even flowered yet!
SC and Veggie how did you loofa experiment go ?, did you manage to get any fruit from your vine. I was looking at a video on YouTube and seems like they need a lot of heat and sunlight, it was a grower from California that had made the video.
I failed with both Luffa and Tromboncino last year.
