It's quite noticeable that quite a lot of emphasis is put on disabled facilities at festival.
Cripes knows what the average attendance age will be. Hope the zimmer frames don't get stuck inthe mud!
haha that sounds great Vinny!! You'll be pulling the oldies out of the mud lol
Take your tractor, Vinny. That'll shift those Zimmers.
I've had a right grubby day.
Dentist was late, the stress of thinking I was going to get a parking fine was as unpleasant as the news of the cost of treatment likely in excess of £2.5K with very little information from the practice on which to base choices. I got drowned in torrential rain. Pharmacy was closed for lunch when I eventually got there. Then had to shop. Got home after dark.
Let's hope tomorrow will be better.
£2.5k !!! Think how many seeds you could buy with that.
I bet your practice didn't give you that sort of information.
I could probably buy another gh, don't mention that to P
Another embarrassing tale...........
I went to a house this morning to collect some bread and cheese. They had a Ring doorbell so I rang it and a lady came to the door, closely followed by 2 small children and 3 little dogs. She went back into the house to fetch the food, closing the door to stop all the small occupants from escaping.
As I stood there, on the doorstep, waiting for her to come back, I heard a child's voice, saying Hello. I say Hello back and this went on a couple of times. Then I ask what their name is, all the while, standing close to the door and speaking into the Ring doorbell. We had a little chat.
Then, the little voice says, "I'm up here" and there was a young lad leaning out of the upstairs window (not open enough to fall out). He'd been there all along, talking to the top of my head while I'd been up close and personal to the doorbell.
I bet the family were behind the door, laughing at me.
We're finally off to the IOW for a few days tomorrow. First time in what feels like forever. During the heat of the summer we felt we couldn't leave the garden unattended for a week, then each week something cropped up, appointments, tradesmen, funerals etc meant we haven't been over since the spring. This visit is really only to check the place hasn't fallen down in the wind and the rain. I don't somehow think I'll be going paddling
I hope the ferry crossing isn't as foggy as it was yesterday.
Morning, long time no see! Haven’t had time to check back but hope everyone is doing well!
You never surprise me Veggie!!
