The Veranda Red tomato seeds sown on Thursday have germinated so let's see who gets the first ripe tomato!
I wasn't planning on joining in, but I had a little bit of space in the propagator so thought I'd have a go.

You're on Garrett, although I find the problem comes later when the toms are too big for the propagator or the windowsill and the gh is like Siberia. I think I've got some veranda red about 3" tall needing transplanting but my hopes are with Red Robin that can stay on the windowsill all its life if necessary, which I suppose is cheating a bit.
Naw, got my fingers burned drastically last year with early sowings.
Promised then, NEVER AGAIN!
I have some tomatoes drying and some peppers drying for seed. Might try some early peppers as they require a long season and don't get so leggy.
Good luck all.

Found the first flower on the Veranda Red tomato!
How is everyone else and their tomatoes doing?
No flowers on mine yet - I'm a bit behind!
A few flowers on House tomato and another one that I can't remember. No sign of babies yet.

I've got baby toms on Red Robin indoors and flowers on Veranda Red, Tumbling Tom red & yellow.
If you save seed of House, can I have some please?
