Thank you Veggie for kindly creating a dedicated thread for spuds so my plans are as follows....

10 x 30 ltr pots to use, that's are far as I am at the momentSmile
Determinate and Indeterminate Potatoes, didn't know about the difference until today
My plan is extremely simple. None.
10 x 20 L pots of 1st or 2nd earlies, hopefully a mixture of Red Duke of York and Charlotte. Still hoping for 2kg per pot but never really getting there!

Some kind of blight resistant maincrop out of Sarpo Mira, Cara or Carolus, depending on what they have in the garden centres. I don't buy seed potatoes online anymore, even though the choice is much better, because of postage costs. These will go in 3 x 50 L pots.
I don't grow many just 12 Charlotte potatoes in a mix of containers and buckets.

Hello TMTT

How many seed pots do you put in the 50ltrs?
I usually go for 1 seed potato for every 10 litres of pot volume. In the 50 L pots I might go with 4 instead of 5 to see if that results in bigger potatoes.
I have ordered 2 kg of each of the following
Maris Piper
Purple rain
Solist.
Never grown any of these before, but will try some inside the tunnel and more outside in garden.
I have 2kg of Nicola so far.
