Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has a recipe that uses cherries for a special birthday-type treat. I don't bake with them much, but they're my husband's favorite.

Thanks!
I've not tried with cherries, but clafoutis or cobbler are both nice and quite simple to make.
There is always the good old dependable Black Forest Gateau or something I like at Christmas is sherry trifle with lots of frozen black cherries in it
Thanks, TMMT and Can. He decided he didn't want a fancy one! Just a bar cookie. So much for my grandiose plans Tongue
Here’s an idea DJ, I had a bar of Cadbury chocolate the other night shared it with the missus, it was a new flavour ‘sparkling cherry’ it had cherries, and bits of biscuits and some popping candy in it. It as delicious. So why not get some popping candy and add it to your cookie dough and it will be a surprise for your hubby Smile
See, you're thinking festive, Can!
