Lemmy has 4 true leaves and 10 younger siblings now. They’re all going to need their own pots soon.
I’ll be letting their new owners name then when they’re big enough to leave home
Imagine 10 young Lemon trees, all their worldly possessions tied up in Red and white spotted handkerchiefs, attached to sticks, standing at the quay, waiting for the ferry to the mainland. They'll be so excited, jumping up and down when they see the Ferry, the start of their journey back to their motherland - but where is it? Is it Italy, Spain or even South America. I hope you've told them where to go, SC.
Babies are growing. Need to get them in there own pots. No idea when that’ll happen.

Have you considered growing a lemon grove?
When I lived in Tasmania, on an apple orchard, there was a lemon tree outside the kitchen window. I could lean out of the window and pick a lemon - I would love to be able to do that here.
I think that might be pushing my luck trying to grow a lemon grove
. Think I’m just going to keep 1 or 2 in the polytunnel. Find homes for the rest. We have a fb plant exchange group on the island
