A good few years ago  I used to have a pastry blender like this

[attachment=3402]

which I used every time I made pastry, as my hands are too warm to make good pastry. Then one day my mum had a clear out of the drawers and threw it away. She said it was never used.  Dodgy Now I just use a fork, or the FP for large quantities.

The breadmaker is used every week.
I use a tea strainer ball since I stopped using teabags.
Temperature probe for jams and jellies, easier than a jam thermometer I find.
Food processor for big quantities of stuff, slicing, mixing, so maybe once a month.
Electric toaster, but I usually use the cooker grill

What I'd like if I had cupboard/worktop space are a Kenwood Chef and an ice cream maker, one that freezes as it churns. (It's probably better for my figure that I don't have either!)
I bought an icecream maker - used it about 3 times and gave it away!
Most of the recipes needed cream which I don't buy normally. You couldn't make icecream on the spur of the moment when you'd just picked a load of raspberries because you had to go out to buy cream.
^^^^ agree, I've one somewhere in the loft, inherited from mother. It always needed it's bowl frozen and I never had room in the freezer so never got used.

But you can make sorbet, which is better than ice cream, or make a custard with eggs, you don't need cream to make a passable ice cream.
......but I don't like sorbet or custard. There was a banana ice cream recipe too - didn't try that either.Smile
