I also have a few in planters that, when I remember I move into the GH and stash under the bench. Cut out dead  stems, cut down the new stems and wait for them to regrown in spring. Don't water or they'll rot in the cold.

I have cleaned the soil off mine and put them into a polystyrene box and covered them with compost, don't know how they will do but thought I would give it a try

Another thing I found, when I put then in our conservatory, was that thy tended to bring aphids with them. So I would give them a good check over. I once found the aphids had spread to sprouts on some chitting potatoes.

I've finally got rou d to digging up mine, half are in cold GH border, so e will be dry and some will be damp dependent on where the rain gets in. The other half are in boxes in co post in a frost free garage mainly in the dark. We'll see which works.

I don't get up to the loft much at the moment due to No.2 son being here.

Anyway was up there today and the geraniums look remarkable healthy!

Do I need to do anything or just leave them to it??
