The strawberry experiment

Interesting,  I noticed some of my strawberries merged together with what looked like leaves growing at the junctions,  perhaps I should have planted them.  I'll watch your experiment instead.

Are they Malwina?
They do funny things - its "Phyllody" or, as I say it Bill Oddy.

Otherwise, could be our old friend - Fasciation.

After looking up variety,  it's not Malwina, but Mighty Marshmellow.
